Road to the Oscars

Over the weekend, we saw the Critics Choice, DGA, and PGA Awards, with “Anora” making a surprising sweep despite winning nothing at the Golden Globes. Meanwhile, “Emilia Pérez” seems to be losing momentum, partly due to the Karla Sofía Gascón controversy. Final Oscar voting begins today and closes on February 18, meaning these wins could influence the final results.

Keeping it simple

Take the Super Bowl, for example. An old boss of mine is a huge Eagles fan. During the game, I sent her a quick text congratulating her on the win. No ask, no agenda—just a genuine moment of connection because she popped into my mind.

Building relationships happens in these small moments.
