Happy Birthday, SNL!
“Saturday Night Live” is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! This weekend, past and present cast members came together for a big celebration. The show featured fun moments like Sabrina Carpenter and Paul Simon singing “Homeward Bound,” a funny digital short about everyone on SNL having anxiety, and classic sketches like Mike Myers’ “Linda” joining Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph for “Bronx Beat.”
The Berlin Film Festival is celebrating 75 years!
It started on February 13 with The Light, a film by Tom Tykwer about modern German society. Over the next 11 days, the festival will showcase exciting new movies, including ones starring strong women leads like Jessica Chastain, Margaret Qualley, Marion Cotillard, Rose Byrne, and Emma Mackey.
Festivals like this help spotlight women-driven stories and talent—on screen and behind the scenes. As more women take the lead in directing, writing, and producing, events like Berlin show how the industry is changing.
